This is Brian Frank’s 1968 Firebird convertible. Brian had a 400 cid engine in this car when he brought it to us and wanted to upgrade to a 462 cid. We used as many of Brian’s existing parts as we could and installed one of our stroker kits in his 400 block. We reused his Edelbrock 72cc heads and ported them to flow 325 cfm. We also installed the engine in this car along with a few other upgrades. The fuel system was redone and we installed a new cooling system with new fans and plumbing. Despite making 600 hp and 596 ft lbs of torque, this is an incredibly fun car to drive most especially with the top down. It have very good street manners. This car will also get sideways on you in a heart beat if your not careful!
