This is a test engine built for my son to use in our 1966 GTO for testing. We were looking to make 600 horsepower on pump gas using some new parts that we have developed to complement the Kauffan Racing Equipment Trade Wind Tripower intake. We initially broke the engine in with a Victor intake and a Holley 1050 Dominator carb before switching over to the KRE Trade Wind topped off with 3 Holley 2300 series 500 cfm carbs. It took a little tuning at the track to get the Tripower to respond properly; however, we are VERY pleased with the results. At the end of the 2023 season, the Tripower combo propelled the car to a 10.89 ET at 123 mph.
