Wally Becker came to use in 2008 wanting to build a strong reliable pump gas combo making 600+ hp.  Wally’s main goal was reliability!

We started off with a MR-1A aluminum after market block and topped it off with a set of 85 CC KRE Aluminum D -port heads ported to flow 340 cfm and our course one on our Tin Indian Performance custom ground hyd roller cams.

PE Power of Inspiration – Tin Indian Performance MR1A build for Wally Becker

With a HP 1000 cfm 4150 style carb the combo made 637 horsepower and 685 ft lbs of torque.

We decided to see what a 1050 cfm 4500 style dominator car would do as well.  It made 645 horsepower and 692 ft lbs of torque.

Not too shabby for a fairly mild pump gas combo!

Wally is a regular at the annual Norwalk event with his car running low 11’s at 120+ mph.  Most recently, Wally’s son Allen Becker, dipped into the TENS by running a 10.90 ET at 124 mph (video below)!
